Welcome to the Butte College Salon & Spa.
Our talented students, under the guidance of seasoned instructors, are ready to unleash their creativity and skills to make you look and feel your absolute best. From hair and nails to skincare and barbering, we offer a comprehensive menu of services that rotate throughout the year. Whether you're preparing for a special occasion or simply treating yourself to a well-deserved pampering session, this is your haven for relaxation and self-care.
We will begin appointments for hair services and skin services on Monday, October 12.
We will begin appointments for barber services on Wednesday, September 30.
We start scheduling appointments two weeks in advance, so please call 530-895-2202 after September 28 to schedule your hair or skin appointment.
Call after September 16 to schedule your barber appointment.
You must leave a message to schedule an appointment, including your name and phone number.
We will return your call to schedule the appointment.

Hair Services - Daytime and evening appointments beginning October 12
Haircut - $10
- includes shampoo and blow dry
- add flat/curling iron +$5
Thermal Styling - $10
- includes shampoo, blow dry, flat/curling iron
Treatments - Daytime and evening appointments beginning October 12
Scalp/Hair Therapy - $15
- includes shampoo, deep conditioning, blow dry
- add high frequency +$5
Skin Services - Daytime appointments beginning October 12
Eyebrow Tweeze - $3
Eyebrow Wax - $8
Lip/Chin Wax - $8
Basic Facial - $30
- 45-minute treatment
- add high frequency +$5
+ indicates additional charges for extra product based on length, texture, and density of hair, added in $5 increments per instructor determination.
Barber Services - Evening appointments beginning September 30
Full Face Shave - Free
- includes hot towel treatment
Head Shave - Free
- includes hot towel treatment
Mustache Trim - Free
Beard Trim - Free
Clipper Cut - $10
- includes shampoo
- includes shave or mustache/beard trim or barber facial for $15
Barber Facial - $20
- 30-minute barber chair treatment
- only $15 when added to clipper cut

Salon Guidelines
All work is performed by students, supervised by teachers. We appreciate your patience.
▪ The school has the right to refuse clients.
▪ No shoes, no shirt, no service.
▪ Lobby is closed to the public, open only to those receiving services.
▪ No food or drink may be brought in the building.
▪ Students cannot lift or transfer clients. Clients must bring someone to assist with this if needed.
▪ Only clients are allowed on the clinic floor except as follows:
▪ Children receiving services who require adult supervision, ages 6 and up only
▪ Clients who require assistance standing or transferring.
▪ Please be on time. A no-show is when a client arrives 10 minutes past the appointment time and may be rescheduled.
▪ Payment is required at time of service by credit/debit card.
▪ Clients under age 18 must have parent/guardian signature on the Cosmetology Client Waiver.
▪ If you are dissatisfied with a service, you must return within 3 working days and have it examined by an instructor.
▪ Appointments must be paid for in advance. No refunds.
